Has there been a time where you made an error either with money or dealing with a customer? Explain what happened and how you corrected it. What will you do differently next time?
I make errors all of the time with money. Working here made me realize that I can't count, (at least with people rapping and whatnot around me.) I have gotten better at it though. I still can't count when I hear Young Geezy or whatever it is they're singing. But, hey, at least I try.

Week Five

Week Four
Do you have classmates asking you for free drinks or pastries? You aren't alone! Some of your peers will ask you this frequently, causing you to make an ethical decision. How have you handled it in the past? How will you handle it in the future?
Yes, this is a constant dilemma. A couple of times I had to get rude with that person. It is a very rare occasion that I have to resort to being rude. I just use the line, "I'm not getting kicked out of school for your Cheez-Its." My line usually works. Usually.

Week Three
Talk about tasks that can be done when the coffee shop is slow. What types of things can you be working on to still be a productive worker?
There are always things to do here. You could restock, clean, do computer work, be hassled by that one kid that never leaves. No one should ever be chilling listening to music here. & since I am alone here; I rarely get to sit down.

Week Two
We are already beginning to talk about customer service. Talk about a positive customer service experience you have had working at Jittery Joe's.
A positive customer experience? Here at Jittery Joes? Ha, I don't know about that. I suppose that the nicest customers come from the other side of the building. They are always really polite. Plus, I like making their fancy drinks. I have never been tipped here, then again, I have never been tipped at my real job. I try to treat all customers with equal respect. Even though it is rarely returned.
